One of the biggest festivals in music history went down in Bethel, New York in 1969, 43 miles away from the initial planed place of the festival; WOODSTOCK.
400'000 people were celebrating free love, flower power and the countless rock music icons who took over the stage during the sometimes rainy 3 days of the festival. The history of music had to be newly written down after this event, as nothing ever was like it used to be before.
Italien house music mastermind FEDERICO SCAVO digs in his musical archive and rolls out the red carpet to those unforgettable times and reworks the speech of farmer "Max Yasgur", who owned the property on which the mega event went down, into a classy and groovy house music gem.
Nearly 50 years later we dance and celebrate for the same reasons, live and love for the same reasons and still fight for peace and a better world. Nothing changed but the fact that nowadays we use computers and high-end speakers instead of guitar amplifiers to expose the music out to the dance floors.
