Under no illusion keep things local with their second release coming from Funktion in Dumfries resident Jamie Roy. And its a very strong second instalment from Ki Creightons new imprint.
The first release gained support from Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Slam, Yousef, ATFC, Hernan Cattaneo, King Unique, Jesse Rose, Simi, Pirupa, Michel De Hey, Huxley and Luke Slater , already proving to be a musical versatile yet underground label.
And so to this release, and the original What's Your Name rides a deep wobbly baseline with spoken vocal harmonies and a layered baseline.
The remix comes courtesy of current deep house maestro Denney from the Hot Creations stable. His New Dimension remix takes the track up a notch with really cool effected sounds and a more up-tempo bassline.
