Pheek comes back to his roots with a dub experience that starts off the new year. "Tones Of Void" is a live recording of experimental moments, representing what Pheek loves to do in studio, while making music mainly for himself. Dub techno has been one of the primary starter for the Montreal based producer but at one point, the idea started to fade off as he went into the minimal wave. Coming back to his first loves with detachment provides a deeper perspective on the matter and a certain freedom in the creative process. Titles of the track are Canadian river names. This album hopes to bring awareness to the new laws that removed protection over the water plans, opening doors to exploitation of the nature, to empty it to its natural beauty.
