Stan Kolev has been with the label since 2004 and after several Singles, a debut chart topping hit album and a few remixes; we're pleased to welcome the man back for 2012 in collaboration with longtime friend and fellow Miami-ite Juan Mejia who needs no introduction. As the A&R of Dutchie Music & Grouper Recordings, Juan has shown an unparalleled consistency and dedication to House Music, constantly on the hunt for new burgeoning talents all over the world, providing DJ's and music lovers alike the opportunity to discover amazing new sounds from deep house purveyors such as Joeski, Diego Astaiza, DJ Wady, Loko, Stryke, Pete Moss, Medway, The Timewriter, Hector Couto, Jay J, Johnny Fiasco, Krummstoff, J&M Brothers, Sendos Fuera, Subsky, Satoshi Fumi, Sebastian Davidson and many many more!
'To The Clouds' is a chart topping tour de force which is one of our favorite tracks from Dutchie Music's back catalogue and Juan Mejia was kind enough to allow our artists to reinterpret it for 2012 in Ready Mix's own flavor of sound. With its synthy progressive house melodics to the electro-static bass rumbles to the techy drum programming and the heavenly vocals, 'To The Clouds' will stand out well in any big-room situation and exemplifies the very best that this music has to offer as it appeals to a wide variety of DJs and clubbers alike!
On remix duty, we have our very own head honcho/A&R, (and a man with a master plan) Adel 'BiG AL' Ghandour teaming up with his longtime partner-in-crime Levente Szabo as Beat Factory, which is one of the many monikers of this unstoppable duo who have been churning out infectious works on major labels such as Global Underground, Baroque, Balance/EQ, Armada, Vapour, Aenaria, Outside The Box and Dutchie, Sick Watona amongst many others. Their remix of 'To the Clouds' boasts a breezy intro that eases into elegant percussive elements and keeps things flowing along with dramatic metallic accents and hypnotic flair!
Next remix courtesy of label head honcho (who doesn't seem to sleep much) BiG AL going solo and delivering two interpretations. The first is a deep and very Balearic version replete with beautiful Latin-inspired guitars, windswept efx and a knockout groove to keep those warm bodies bouncing. He then keeps the exact same structure and arrangement while stripping out the guitars for the second version which is intended for deeper house heads and suitably named the 'Deep Dub'.
We hope you enjoy our latest Journey....To The Clouds!!!
