After The Norris Division Sucked EP, Ben Nevile is back on Telegraph with his Petid track, remixed by himself and by Playhouse family member and deflected-house master Losoul. Originally released on the Post Office compilation, Petid is another deepness marvel in Ben’s unique style: an organic minimal house sound, resulted from an amalgamation of computer programming skills and harmonic sensibility. With a total fusion between rythm and melody, the original version carry a sweet reverie, while the remixes delve into darker atmospheres, with heavier kicks and gloomy bass lines. Ben Nevile is pursuing an interdisciplinary master's degree in music and electrical engineering. He also works as a software developer for Cycling '74, the San Francisco-based makers of Max/SP. Additionnaly to his threeTelegraph EPs, he has releases on Context, ORAC and Background. He lives in Victoria, Canada.
