Next on ICONYC Noir we welcome Dowden to the label with his brand new single 'Kepler'. Hailing from Canada, Dowden has been a regular on some of the world's finest labels with his progressive and melodic techno influenced driving productions. With 'Kepler' he is ready to unleash what is easily his best body of work to date.
The original mix features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive house vibes to satisfy ambient, uplifting and feel good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect.
Next up we're excited to welcome Italian Melodic Deep head honcho David Di Sabato who delivers a gem with his dance floor-oriented rework. David's remix is interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement, with the understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. David manage to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.
Last but not least we welcome back GuyRo who needs no introduction. Fresh of the back of the success of his remix for Sean & Dee a few weeks back, he brings maturity and musical development in full swing, as GuyRo kicks off proceedings with a deep, hypnotic beat which is interspersed with effective percussion, a profound driving grooves and indie influences, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. Another sure winner from the Malaga based Irish producer. Essential stuff!
