Like with minimal techno, it’s quite incredible the level of ‘cleanliness’ that Pedro has achieved on the B1 track here - meaning the sounds really do punch through in the mix hard. But this is not minimal - far from it. Utter techno carnage, and as such this track stands out a mile in a club. The A1 track is the best though and with an unusual snare drum and ride cymbal reminiscent of early Headroom/Skoog tracks, the look of exhaustion this one leaves on the dancefloor when the bassline comes in is obvious. A four track EP however and the other two tracks are pretty decent also, keeping the usual Yin Yangers happy. Pedro really is at the top of his game here. Amazing stuff - Mark EG
Yin Yang boss and international techno legend Pedro Delgardo steps up to lay down a massive release on his own globally supported and much respected label, keeping true to the tight funky production and peak time qualities that have made Yin Yang shine time and time again!
Collider oozes with drive and pump with a twisted electro lead that cuts straight to the point, always going to work wonders! Particle offers a slight old skool influence, with big pads and synths. Simian lays down the harder tribal grooves, dark but funky, and those rolling snares we all know and love, in comes a creeping electro synth and effects and you have another monster track! To finish is Tiburon, with an epic tech stepping hook, plenty of shuffle and groove.
The England EP is another outstanding example of one the finest techno labels in the world, a dynamic and eclectic release with something for all techno lovers, and always aimed directly at the dance floor! – Vortechtral
Feedback on this great ep;
This is driving epic banging body shaking techno with soul that reminds me the good old techno days married with sounds of today. I like the way the way you incorporate some melodic elements too and in a way you offer them a cross over appear for tech trance and techno sets. Just a word for each: Simian: manic thunderous punkish techno with attitude, Collider :cool rockish bassline and amazing atmosphere. I like its darkness a lot. Tiburon: I like the usual organ rave sounds used in it and the small melody playing that gives it a spicey edge. And finally the best for me Particle with the Spanish guitar sample that drives along with a lovely break that adds to the tension of it. This can become an Ibiza favorite and I can see people like r.rivera or h.cataneo playing it as well. 10/10
Thanks so much for the nice tracks as this is techno at its purest and best form – Dmitrii – Fluxradio (Radio Greece)
