Since 1999, Technique Recordings has won a global audience for its brand of high-spec drum ‘n’ bass music. Founded and AR’d by the mighty Simon Bassline Smith and Andy Drumsound Wright, quality control was always going to be a priority. That’s why the label has been instrumental in bringing the likes of Tantrum Desire, Document One and L Plus to the attention of the DnB world at large. With a back catalogue boasting legendary artists including Roni Size, Digital, Marky, AMC, Bladerunner and The Prototypes, plus annual compilations showcasing new and established talent, the last twenty years of output is as varied as it is extensive. Bringing us everything from soothing sunlit liquid to neuro tearouts, jump up bangers and festival anthems Technique is clearly unconcerned about sub-genre turf wars.
