In Christopher Bullock's 1716 satirical masterpiece "The Cobbler of Preston" he refers to the inevitably of 'death' and 'taxes' as the only certainties in life.
It's a profoundly fallacious hypothesis showing an almost unforgivable lack of foresight in omitting to mention David AKZ, Bad Life's house and techno supremo who as sure as the day is long, continually knocks out peak-time bangers.
Setting aside Bullock's preference for late Baroque-period composers (and the several centuries separating their existence) David AKZ, our own electro cobbler of Shoreditch, surely deserves a shout. His new banger 'Once upon a time in the Projects' goes further to assert his place on the roll call of dance-floor smashing dead-certs.
Jackin' Chicago house smothered with techy grit and a generous glazing of acid, this newie embodies pure, unadulterated heat. The summer block party starts here.
