DJ/producer Corey Baker rips out a techy electro-house monster in his newest production "Mina", coming soon on Quarterlife Records NYC. The original mix is anchored around a 3/4 pattern of square synth stabs autopanning and modulating ADSRs that shimmer through the electro percussive elements and echoey "aw aw aw" vocal snip. The ride is elevated with the main synth pitching up to crescendos that pop the drums back on for dancefloor frenzy. On the remix tip are New York production duo the Bitcrushers, comprised of DJ Fame and Gaby Dershin from Astro&Glyde. The take here is more distorted, edgy and urgent, with modulating low-fi percussives cleanly snapping through the throbbing sub-bass and filtering brawling bassline.
