Louisville, Kentucky-Native Caleb Cornett aka Amtrac marks his return to Toolroom this summer, set to turn heads again with his latest offering Hold On. Amtracs rise to the face of the global dance music community has been a remarkably speedy process, having rapidly established himself as a distinct figurehead with an impressive string of singles, collaborations and remixes under his belt.
Hold On can easily be described as a full-pledged vocal barnstormer. Its brimming with lush melodic embellishments, extraordinarily hooky vocal chop-ups (courtesy of Marvin Gayes Aint Nothing Like The Real Thing) and a deliciously clean-cut bass line that just keeps on giving. Amtrac certainly takes another step towards the limelight here, this time around in hands-in-the-air festival anthem mode truly upholding his range and depth as a wholly talented producer.
