  • Description Pole Position Recordings proudly presents Sixth Avenue Express with their debut EP 'Can't Stop Feelin'. This may well be Sixth Avenue Express' first EP but don't let that lull you into thinking these are new kids on the block, far from it - the London based duo have already had tracks released on Gazeebo International, House Of Disco & Kolour Records to much acclaim.

This EP has really given the Sixth Avenue Express boys the chance to showcase their far stretching musical influences. A prime example of this is the title track 'Can't Stop Feelin' which walks the line between Deep House and Nu Disco with it's bold funk bass and hypnotic vocals all set to a divine backdrop of warm soulful chords and blissed out strings. Remix duties fall to Maxi Discs own Pete Herbert who liberally sprinkles his trademark dicso dust all over 'Can't Stop Feelin' topping it off with an irresistible jazzy piano interlude. Deep Sound Express, a young Russian artist very much on the rise, provides a warm, powerful Dub to round off the remixes in style.

With it's Sub Bass and driving piano riff 'Props' is a no-nonsense slice of classic house that takes us back to the heady warehouse days of the early 90s. Sixth Avenue Express then finishes off the EP with 'Nevada Desert' which heads straight back down the Nu Disco highway with it's fat moog bass line and interlocking synth stabs, all building to an epic breakdown.
