FXtion Records hits back with their fourth installment, which comes from rising star Ben Read with his release 'What He Said', containing 3 original tracks and two exceptional remixes from Jame Moorfield and label owner Lee Pearce.
'What He Said' has the classic underground house sound, providing the raw and gritty bassline that drives the track, coupled with nineties house music-style synth build-ups and catchy vocal cuts throughout.
The first remix of 'What He Said' comes from Jame Moorfield, signed to labels like Underground Audio and Endless Music, who has stepped the track's intensity, rhythm and funk to create one hell of an insanely catchy remix. Giving the remix a key synth lead hook and filtered synth accompaniment, it has this instant memorability to its sound.
The second remix comes from Lee Pearce, who has stripped back the track and infused his unique production style and sound to create a smooth, flowing, low-frequency groovier. Whilst keeping a consistent energy throughout the track, the breakdowns deliver such suspense and build, that it drops you straight back into the main beat with almost a refreshed feeling and experience.
'That's Right', has a huge kick drum that drives the track through with Ben Read's signature smooth flowing, raw bassline sound. This track is one to get the dance floor dancing heavily too.
'Box Cutter' carries multiple emotions as with its hard-hitting bassline that punches through the sound systems perfectly, the breakdowns throughout the track has some light and beautiful synth pads with an accompanying vocal sample that breaks up the moodiness from the main beat.
