We are back after an intense festival summer and bring a fresh artist from Colombia to the forefront. Alex aka RAIZED comes up with two bangin' floortrooper tracks plus a remix by labelhead BEE LINCOLN. Hailing straight outta' Medellin, he's deeply connected in the local techno scene and plays regularly in the underground clubs of the city. With releases on Defected, Inmotion, SK Recordings or Tres14 Music, he pointed out his excellent sense for rhythms and grooves, and what really works on the floors.
For the first shot, Raized gives some "Spice Accents" and provides a rumbling rollercoaster. The spices are hot and having techy characteristics, but definitely functional for the peak hours on house floors too. Thrilling up with mighty elements and sweeping effect adaptions, it's a powerful tune which goes straight into the mind.
The 2nd bullet called "Yousef" claims an advanced groovin' bassline and seductive beat patterns. Snappy synth cuts giving some drive on top to make it simply optimized for moving the crowds. Already road-tested by some big names.
Bee Lincoln examines it carefully and takes "Spice Accents" for transforming it into a trippy remix. Taking a crispy bass as a fundament, obscure sequence snips are combined with the main parts of the original. It's time for a lil' oblique ride.
