Randomized Coffee is a music project created by two Italian DJs, Massimiliano Troiani and Tommaso Checchi.
Their passion for analogic sounds and a raw artisanal approach explores a new music territory. African tempos, Brazilian sound,
jazzy grooves and Latin rhythms got mixed in a huge and emotional patchwork of tunes.
In 2017, Randomized Coffee produced the EP "Baba/Cidade de Kalimba" via New York's Wonderwheel Recordings, their first
American release. One year later they published “Mercato Burruchaga/Cotone Mediterraneo” featuring the great Italian
percussionist Tony Cercola.
The single “Barake” featuring Malian musician Kalifa Kone on drums/percussions and Griot singer Kady Coulibaly on vocals,
was released in June 2019 and was also included in the special vinyl compilation “Inside The Dance - Vol.4”.
Later that year, Randomized Coffee “killer remix” of Novalima’s song “Rumbo Libre” was included in the “Ch’usay Remixed”
album, alongside remixes by Nickodemus & The Spy From Cairo, Lagartijeando, Digital Afrika, Vitu, Gitkin, Lilo Cox, Emmaculate
and Capitan Planet.
In Spring 2020, Randomized Coffee remixed Kiko Navarro’s “Ihabogi Rawaly”, from his upcoming album “Afroterraneo”,
reworking the soaring vocals of the Guinean singer Aboubacar Sylla with West African guitar licks and heavy live percussion, out
via Wonderwheel Recordings.
At the end of 2021, Randomized Coffee debuted with Orianna Music, a label under Sony Music, with the song “Despierta”
featuring Noel GC, and this collaboration with the label goes through 2022 with another single, "Cumbarrio", once more with the
voice of Noel GC and also the Spanish singer Owem G.
