James Hampton was born and raised in New York where he spent most of his time from the age of 14 playing the drums or guitar in hard rock and jam bands. He fell in love with techno in 1991 and in 1999 became a DJ in Phoenix Arizona. Quickly gaining the reputation as one of Phoenix's top Trance DJs, it took James only two years to become a local headliner at raves in Arizona and shortly after an opener for major acts in the Scottsdale night clubs. Over the next few years James played national gigs and several times on the Las Vegas strip. He headlined the Vegas strip in 2008 at Empire Ballroom under his original moniker "DJ Harmonious", which he stopped using officially in 2009.James Hampton released his first production "Elixer" with Space Rockerz on Noel Sanger's Dissident Music in 2009. It was also featured on The Global DJ Broadcast with Markus Schulz.In 2010 James remixed Space Rockerz "Weather the Storm" for the Dutch label "In Trance We Trust", which has seen support from major headliners around the world. The remix was also featured on "Black Hole Radio" and "Transender" with Eddie Sender. He also released his first solo track, the trance gem "E. Main St." which was re-released on the Dissident Music compilation "Dissident Miami 2011". Since then James has been busy releasing more of his original tracks and getting into remixing for some great new artists on the scene.James doesn't take anything for granted, he's a very humble soul on an amazing journey through sound and good vibes.
