Discopunk electronica duo Feral Five are tipped as ones to watch in 2017 by Louder Than War, for their "groundbreaking" music.Raised by wolves on a diet of punk rock, disco and roots, their futuristic blend of snarling guitars, jittery synths, and ferocious beats, has also seen them championed by BBC Radio 6 Music's Steve Lamacq and Gideon Coe, and Eddy Temple-Morris.Feral Five are singer/guitarist Kat, and bassist, composer, and throat-grabbing beats creator Drew. Obsessed with science, they create songs about the dark human side of tech, as well as love, lust and madness. They've collaborated with world leading 3D designer Francis Bitonti on 'Rule 9', sculpting synths, vocals and beats around his algorithms. In ‘3D’ they predicted #3dprintinghumans, sampled 3D printers, and used one as an instrument when they played Music Tech Fest in London. Their music features in acclaimed drag queens film Dressed As A Girl. Their collaborations with Misled Convoy / Pitch Black include a Misled Convoy remix of their synthpunk track 'Neurotrash'. They have supported industrial music giants Test Dept and New Zealand electronic pioneers Pitch Black live.Electronic legend Martyn Ware picked them to play at the National Portrait Gallery Picasso-inspired night 'Everything You Can Imagine Is Real', that he curated in January 2017. From this performance they created the innovative EP: Man Cat Doll Machine."Sounds excellent!" Martin Ware (Heaven 17 / BEF)"Proper #datapop earworm. Tune in at your own risk" - PRS M Magazine "A ferocious blast of riotous riffs" - Gigslutz" Blondie meets the Automaton from Metropolis via instant earworm tunes and beats.
