The first time you have probably heard of Tim Engelhardt, was when he released his two stunning remixes of Solee's ''Jule'' on Solee’s own imprint Parquet Recordings. The Chillout Mix was even more successful than the original one with ranking fourth in the German Chill-Out Charts for more than 30 weeks.Surrounded with music right from the start, dusty vinyl records and cheesy mid 80’s rock influenced Tim in a very early stage of his life. His love for psychedelic rock, jazz and soul is still remarkable in the music he crafts. Even though he is still very young, these influences are one of the things that make his music sound very grown up.Always with a sense for the right groove, the appropriate amount of melody and last but not least, holding his finesse while mixing, Tim’s sound is compatible for the club as well as for home listening.Countless remixes for Dr. Kucho! on his label Disc Doctor Records, Boris Brejcha on Harthouse, Emanuel Satie on Beatpropaganda and others followed, before he got signed by the hamburg-based label Playmusic Productions in early 2012. Label-owner Andreas Lindemann and Tim Engelhardt also built up a strong relationship with the aim to share their visions. They definitely complement each other and that’s what makes this label so strong. The first collaboration of the two artists was Andreas Lindemann's single ''Vivre Comme Un Coq En Pate'', accompanied by a beautiful rework made by Tim Engelhardt, which instantly fascinated the people all over the world. Of course, this wasn't enough for the two producers. Tim's first EP release, ''All Eyes On You'', completed by a gorgeous remix by Andreas Lindemann, followed ''Vivre Comme Un Coq En Pate'' and unexpectedly gained 6/6 points in the german ''Raveline'', which was a great success to both the label and the producers. In 2013, Tim focused on developing his sound and getting his original productions out. This resulted in the release of ''Nightflight'' and ''Serenity'' as well as a remix for Zusammenklangs ''Morgenblaue'' on Parquet Recordings, a split release with Patty Kay on the recently founded Kunsthandwerk, a remix for Such A Saint on the well-known Vitalik imprint, the follow up to 2012’s ''All Eyes On You'', ''It Matters To Me'' on his home label and his first contribution to the Ostwind Records catalogue, ''Take A Chance With Me'', which won’t be the last on this label. All these happenings helped Tim to further strengthen his signature sound, which he has been shaping ever since and of course to get to know lots of music-fascinated people and producers over the world, which resulted in wonderful collaborations to be unleashed soon..With releases and remixes scheduled on precious platforms like Parquet Recordings, Ostwind Records, Amuse Gueule, Babiczstyle, Subtract Music, Playperview, Dantze and many more, the following years will be an exciting adventure for him.
