Jerome Sydenham returns to his Apotek label prescribing once again a heavy dose of proper Techno.
Apotek is Jerome's outlet for his more straight up Techno projects, but only as a black man knows how to do Techno: with Soul. This latest EP has plenty of it, boasting two certified hearty bombs with the 'Vanishing Point EP'.
'Vanishing Point', is innovative without steering too far away from Jerome's typical style of Techno, that slowly evolves. Switching drums sounds keep your ear tuned into the intricate nuances. Dub echoed vocal roar like an elephant, but the female tone emits a soothing vibe.
"Weather System', starts off quite hypnotic making it the perfect blending tool. However, this track is far from one-dimensional, as it reveals a hip-shaking funky House groove right in the middle of the thunderous beats. This is Jerome at his best, combing original elements from genres and gelling them together to maximum results.
