Four slices of raw Chicago House. Zurich based Florin Büchel aka CCO (which basically stands for Contra Communem Opinionem), has filled his flat with old school synthesizers and drum machines a few years ago because these are the ultimate tools to make the music he likes in a way that is fun. Sometimes you find him at Zurich's best club spots, sometimes also playing live with his hardware. It is liquid sensual music that sounds like machines, always looking for the feeling beyond the beat. Also his previous releases on Geneva?s Plak (?The Social Changes?), EP's on Chicago's legendary label Mathematics Recordings, and one EP on Lux Records were properly made analogue and dedicated to the vintage sound of the old days.
CCO creating a robotic, yet melodic deep sound. Dancable, definitely! Even hypnotic at some point.
