German producer Marcel Locust delivers a brand-new techno four tracker on a new ep called 'Take Me Back'.

A professional DJ since age 15, winner of the Gayle San remix contest in 2015 and a resident at Ravefaction; Marcel has firmly established a career in the underground techno scene. With one original track and one remix on Different Is Different Records' catalog, now he offers an extended play including four remarkably groovy tracks.

Opening with a rather stabby style, 'Pi' is reminiscent of the good old 90's dance music anthems. Featuring a relentless stab-synth action suspended over a thumping kick drum that's fueled by a random floating vocal.

Onwards to the second cut of the reference, its a groover with a slightly upper tempo titled 'Sundays'. A bouncy groove, pushing vocals and heavy TR-909 action open path to a massive breakdown resolved by the emergent hypnotic percussion synth line that elevates you to the anticipated drop.

Heavy driving groove Marcel has crafted on 'Why 909'. Combining an ultra-deep low end with a cleverly programmed percussion melody executed with extreme lush tones, the track builds up into the usual pattern already found on the producer's own style. A certain dance-floor filler.

The vocal you'll find on the breakdown of 'Take Me Back' is sure to pump you up until finally getting that bass drum back in your face. A massive warehouse techno groover.
