UND016 UND OLYMPIX 09 We are back with heat in 2009, presenting underl_ne labels 16th escapade! Ok thats not a super duper grand total, compared with those who have done erm, 50 releases in the same amount of time!? But hey, this is not the same thing. We are humbled to be able to put out this international, sporty selection of tracks in a thoroughly athletically themed package! So here goes, the und olympix compilation, 4 brilliant tracks by some of our old friends, future techno heroes and cool people! 1. MISS DINKY / STAR JUMP Alejandra Iglesias uses her old alias for this track and with an album and collaborations with wagon repair imminent, this track is classic old skool Dinky. A subtle bongo house rhythm turns into total femme fatal drama, get this and get down. 2. HUGO DURAN / LIMBO DANCER Hugo Duran is now a good friend and a talented new producer from Mexico city. His tracks are just great, warm and sophisticated with this one well worthy to sit on the A side and enhance the latin pressure! 3. WELTZWEI (BENNO BLOME 2007 EDIT) / HANDSTAND When we started buying techno records WELTZWEI was the biggest thing for us and we were loving the early sender material very much. Now we have the chance to release the last ever track by this amazing duo. 4. BERKANT / LEAP-FROG Berkant Suer is another good friend from Berlin, you may remember the crazy Bergengruen track we put out on our digital sampler back in 2007. Well we have wanted to release a few old, rice and peas minimal tracks by him for ever so were glad to see him bringing up the rear of the pack with a personal best right here! A rock and techno infused jumpcut rocker that we hope will be well received...
