Paris, France based artist Meda debuts on Piston Recordings with his Inside EP. Meda is involved in many projects around electronic music. Management of labels and organization of evenings rub shoulders with the musical production within several projects as well as his first passion, DJing. Musical and dynamic, his mixes allowed him to open the doors to famous clubs and evenings in France and abroad. Rex club, Batofar, Cocobeach, Red Villa, Electromind and Big Banf are just some of the parties he's played. He's been a producer since late 2011 and has collaborated with many artists such as Ian Pooley, Robert Armani, Johannes Heil, Antony Shake Skakir, Justin Berkovi and Kolombo with his tracks getting great support from big names on the world stage like Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Dave Clarke, Monika Kruse and Steve Bug to name just a few. Great to have him on board at Piston. Inside takes us on a sublime journey into deep house with some fine, expertly crafted sounds. Punchy kick drums and shuffling hi hats lead the way as a deep, low end bass lurks providing a solid platform for the groove. Cool chords and vocal snippets are front and centre, adding that deep house touch which will definitely get the booty's shakin' on the floors. Top notch stuff that will not disappoint. Barreled Up intros with some very nice chords and shuffling percussions alongside a cool clubby vocal and twanging guitar riff. Punchy kicks come through to get us moving while extra layers are piled on including a funky guitar lick. To cap it all off we get the funkiest bassline that ramps up the groove to ass shakin' levels. Definitely one for the peak time moments here, not to be missed.
