Turno marks his debut EP on Elevate with the Gemini EP; four statement tracks that showcase his technical prowess in the studio and masterful ability in creating uncompromising drum & bass. Following on from anthem Asylum released on the label at the tail-end of last year and fresh from a packed-out summer show diary, the Bedford producer shows no slowing down in his ascent as one of the seminal artists in the scene today.
Opening the EP Turno teams up with hotly-tipped London based producer Kanine on Strangers, returning to Elevate to deliver one of the most sought-after tracks in recent memory. A bed of synths and choral textures that wouldnt be amiss from a Hollywood blockbuster film score introduce No Chance, featuring Hospital Records stalwart Inja. The track swiftly transitions into a destructive climax that is sure to turn any club upside down. Following on Jungle Demon is full of gnarly, distorted bass hitting landing punches in between splashy, hard-hitting beats. Amazon rounds off the EP as a six-minute journey combining jungle atmospherics and distant ethereal vocals with a lashing bassline and rolling tribal drum patterns.
