Turkey based producer Mustafa Yuksel aka Stars Like Dust releases his debut album under the label Kanto Records.
The album features a sound, that combines the guitar of 80's new wave and electric instruments of synthwave with influences from science fiction and horror movie soundtracks. Recorded in Seattle and Istanbul, the album has 10 tracks, all composed by Yuksel himself. Although most of the tracks are instrumental, Yuksel's dreamy vocals accompany several songs in the album.
The album has some unmissable references to space and sci-fi with influences pouring in from "Akira" and movies such as "Blade Runner", while the artist name Stars Like Dust is a clear nod to legendary Isaac Asimov's famous novel.
