Following support from Above and Beyond, Ferry Corsten and Cosmic Gate, the Hungarian producer Jon Bourne brings his own progressive sound to Andea music for a superb release. Showcasing a vast range of influences from deep and dirty groove house to driving progressive trance, this two track EP captures the essence of peak time!
The groove laced "Faro" blends eccentric bassline work with dreamy pads and piano lines to craft peak time perfection. The intro screams groove house elements while vocal fx and arpeggios maintain Jon's progressive sound. The breakdown pads inspire an underwater mood as the euphoric chords are revealed and explode into the main drop with a powerful snare. Jon's tight drum work maintains energy throughout with vocal fx complimenting the synth melodies perfectly. Effortlessly feeding back into the groove outro, Jon's ability to blend two different styles shines through on this track!
"Leipzig" is nothing less than a highly infectious dirty floorfiller. With a rolling electro bassline and tight percussive elements, Jon's talents as a producer shine through as he uses nostalgic plucks over a forward thinking groove. In the breakdown, chords grow subtly as the plucks guide the listener to the climax. Clean fx and drums maintain pace as vocal shots usher in uplifting tones before heading to the outro. Smooth arpeggios decorate the final bass driven drop, carrying "Leipzig" to a close, with this track further cementing Jon as a talented producer!
