Born in 1991, Van Did has always been interested in and concerned by the environment, which he references in his music by using natural sounds he records. One of his major influences is sound design, and he uses many new techniques for manipulating the audio signal. He's always looking for new textures to give an unique color to his compositions. Van Did creates wide ambiances, rich aural landscapes and immersive audio experiences, as he is very interested in audio spatialization, and binaural audio recording. He composes detailed, multilayered music to be listened to attentively, but also produces different genres of club music. His sometimes repetitive music can induce a hypnotic effect, yet he always includes details and nuances, and makes his music a progressive journey.
