Montreal based DJ, Producer & Label owner, Ellroy comes from the BBoy culture. It all started in 2001 with breakdancing, graffitti and of course breakbeats.In 2009 Ellroy launched his own label Stereo Tension Records and moved t o Mont real in Canada where he met Thomas Courribet and Jeff Gold, both resident DJ's at famed Montreal hot-spot, Le Salon Daome. All the while Ellroy spent hours in the studio perfecting his productions skills. Stereo Tension Records released many tracks from local talents such as Driss Skali, UCP, Kressel, Jeff Fontaine, Lucie Lebel, NashOne, Oly Arsenal, Pierre de Lux, Thomas Courribet and X-Cube. Many of those tracks received great international feedback and were featured on CBC Radio.2011 was a busy year for Ellroy. His track Warehouse Music was picked up by the legendary label Defected for the Azuli Ibiza 2011 compilation and received the support of some of the biggest names in the industry such as Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Olav Bazoski to name a few.2012 changed everything for Ellroy, his track Furciferous released by Frole Records, got picked up by EDM mastermind Richie Hawtin, the track was featured in all of Richie's sets at Space Ibiza, in festivals and clubs all across Europe and was featured in the promo video for Richie's night in Ibiza, ENTER.2012 also witnessed the birth of Tiny Lamp Music, Ellroy's new imprint , launched in collaborat ion wit h Big Al from Ready Mix Records. The label has already released tracks by Krummstoff, Gastek, Multiphase & Filbert, Seraphinem, Kaspar Kochkter, and of course Ellroy and Big Al. The releases received the support of Mark Farina, Slam, Omid 16B, Cytric, Lukas Greenberg, Nick Muir, Addex, Spiritchaser, Beat Factory, Miss Nine, Krummstoff and many more....Ellroy ent ers 2013 wit h a bang, in a world dominat ed by commercial DJ's playing the same tracks over and over again, this new talent brings something fresh to the decks, House music as it is meant, underground and heartfelt.
