Bursting on the scene, the swedish electro-duo Life Express hits you with their debut EP 'The Hulder's Spell' offering something for everyone on this monster release. This EP gives you a delectable palate of sound covering the genres of bangin' Electro, Electro-Breaks, and Dubstep including remixes from Paul Anthony & ZXX, Run Riot & Yuhei Kubo.
"The Hulder" is a seductive forest creature that derives from Scandinavian mythology. An attractive woman who tricks men into the forest and make them obsessed of her.
First up we have the original track which is an electro monster and when combined with a good sound system this sucker is a real banger! This song literally gives you the creeps with an psychological vocal and a melody that makes you want to tear down the walls!
The second track is a remix by Paul Anthony & ZXX which is undoubtedly one of Chicago's top electro/house exports. From the dirtiest of electro, to the funkiest of house, their sound is a signature recognized around the world. Working with the likes of Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records, John Acquaviva's Definitive Recordings, and many others, has put them at the top of the genre, as Chicago's leading electro-house producers. These guys took the song, chopped it up, hit it with nasty bass and the result? KABOOM!
London-based producer and live performer RuN RiOT is one of the UK's fastest-growing dance acts. His unique peak-time sound combining all things Dubstep, House and Breaks has been met with widespread acclaim. Run Riot is offering an entirely different take on the track with an absolutely dubstep madness mix with a creepy touch of sound to it.
Last but not least is the exclusively signed Yuhei Kubo. At the age of twenty two, he has supported acts like Kid Kenobi, Freestylers, Greg Churchill, Nick Sentience, Goodwill, Aston Shuffle, Hook n Sling, and Precision cuts to name a few. He is already getting international plays in countries like USA, Australia and Brazil. Yuhei made this song sound a bit more funky and the beat is based on a strict rhythm that makes you want to nod your head heavily.
Fresh to your ears and unforgiving to your ass!
Early support by: The Crystal Method, Play Paul (brother to Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo in Daft Punk), The Flash Brothers, Circuit Freq, Chris Fortier, Paul Deighton to name a few.
