Next up in the 'So Far So Good' series we turn our attention to some of the new talent joining the label this year, with 'Volume 2, Introducing'. The LP features twelve original mixes from names you're going to be hearing a lot more of over this coming year, including Skippit, Martyn Nytram, and Don-Fu Vs. Dystinkt.
The album kicks off with a couple of deliciously mellow cuts to ease us in. Aspiring young producer Albzzy gives us 'My Mind', a brilliant slice of deep house, before Black & White continue with the chilled out vibe with 'Care 4', a syrupy vocal number.
Switching up the pace, you've got high-energy, bass-heavy offerings from the likes of Blaise and Brett Holmes, both exciting new additions to the label, whilst Jake Twell, a name you may recognise from 'Volume 1, The Remixes', is back with infectious new track, 'Acid Music', a flawless peak-time cut with distorted vocals and slick percussion.
Other highlights include the brilliant piano lead 'Deep Talker' from Highrise, James Dean's layers of vocals in 'Beat On Their Drum', and a couple of clever mixes from fresh young producer Credential, whose news bulletin sample in 'Jack' makes for a truly unique track.
