Marek Hemmann is surfing on a wave of success with his buddy Mathias Kaden from Freude Am Tanzen ("Joy in Dancing"- which is all throughout the music!) As a solo artist, he releases regularly on Raummusik and Milnormodern, providing some of their finest Techno offerings. After his excellent remix work for Someone Else's "Water in Mexico", Hemmann appears now with the "Monsieur Juno" EP, the first Maxi on Glückskind. Hemmann delivers 3 incredible tracks that animate the dancefloor. "Strange Woman" gallops along with the help of a bass loop that fills the club. The work begins leisurely with some synths, developing gradually into an unbelievable groove that no one can escape. The title piece returns to warm synth sounds and sharp bass hooks. Only "The Day Before" puts a little less value on a driving beat. A sweet Hammond-Organ style lays down the theme, while a second melody completes the idea. Also, the melody's interaction with the kick and clap finely tunes the groove on "The Day Before". Beautifully Made!
