Rico Casazza brings Archipel a very rich and thick syrupy trip with "Mess-age from the Black Forest" where he also teams up with Poland's Sirius to do some serious mental charming. "Compression" is an ultra heavy and darkly tinted concoction which has been contorted into just the right form to be able to rewire some synapses into some very clever networks while "Whisky" goes down a different path and brings with it a sultry package of breathy warmth ready to take its seat squarely in the dopaminergic system to do its work. "Fairy Tale" takes a downtempo approach while remaining super-heavy as if it is a vessel full to the brim of molten granite shooting off streamers of light which fizz and spark as they cool. Teaming up with Sirius, "Majeranek" brings with it a rolling night-scape of wooden rhythms where drops of phosphorescent dew form liquid veins as they race towards gravity's irresistible call. Gabbi Lopez takes on "Majeranek" and twirls it into a pulsing lullaby laced with gossamer textures which roll around as water rolls off of leaves quaked by a light wind.
