After many years of creating music and two albums, Futurecop! will be releasing their third album Fairy Tales in 2014, which is said to be a more evolved, mature and yet display the innocent side to Futurecop! For this their influences came from music/film they experienced (and did not have a chance to experience) as kids of the 90s. //They have quoted the music they make is their own personal adventure on discovering/understanding life. Their first album (The Movie) was a straight instrumental album created as a soundtrack to an imaginary 80s fantasy movie. The second album (Hopes, Dreams & Alienation) was a more angst driven album using singers to express emotions, still driven around fantasy, dreams and nostalgia but with a more dark feeling. The new album Fairy Tales is a more mature outlook on life, and walks away from the angst of the previous album and into love and light. Again focussed on nostalgia, it tells a story about finding themselves, separating them from mainstream society, but being strong enough to love and thus be spiritual. // Together with Luke Thompson of Canopy Film, Futurecop! have created 6 music videos with tells a cinematic story about the album. The concept behind the videos is on nostalgia and how the innocent thought processes of people as kids can come back to people in their adult life, which they might have forgotten, to help them remember innocence to make right choices and thus feel love and be unique.
