Spawn Records releases its first ever product and it's a blinder. As good as it gets bass music from up and coming star RoughMath featuring the brilliant vocals of Jonny Winston and flow of one of the hottest and best known MCs in the scene, Maksim. Expect to hear lively, catchy, jacking electro and dubstep influenced EDM produced to a very high standard in an all-round brilliant and solid 2nd EP from RoughMath.
Pathing the way to becoming a well-known, reliably fantastic producer in the bass music scene, with official remixes on Koven's 'More Than You' and 'Wake You Up' singles released on Viper Recordings and 2 Much Bass Records respectively, and a successful debut EP 'Antevorta' also on 2 Much Bass Records, Leo Crossing pka RoughMath follows up with his second full EP release on Spawn Records. Having gained production support from the likes of Roksonix, ShockOne, Dirtyphonics, Cutline, TC, B-Complex, Modestep, Crissy Criss, Koven, Dodge & Fuski, The Qemists, 501 and more with the last EP, 'BuzzKill' now hopes to launch RoughMath firmly onto the bass music scene's radar and really cause a stir.
Newly appointed as the in-house studio engineer for Spawn Records, it seemed fitting that RoughMath would have the honour of the label's first release. Spawn Records is a new independent record label established and run by AudioPorn's Compilations Manager / Nukleuz's Label Manager, Tom Flanders. Specialising in UK bass music, based in East London and created in late 2012, Spawn Records was born with a single goal - to give underrated producers the platform they deserve to increase their exposure and get them a step closer to where they want to be.
