Our next instalment from MD comes via Swiss born Dan Noel. A relative newcomer to this genre, Sad Ballerine is a fresh slice from his musical Journey thus far ,perfectly showcasing where he is at! A clean and rhythmic attitude to the 'dance floor'.Simple, Insistent grooves and working with the breath and space (instead of filling it with unnecessary noise.) Dan's EP is aimed at those that like to get creative and 'work' a groove and once again is best experienced in those deep afterhour moments where no thought is necessary and all focus is on the beat in your body and the journey in your head.
On the remix this time round we have a very special collaboration between one of the Label founders Anthony Middleton (Audiofly) and Maison Artists upstarts "Dance SPirit ." Lead track 'Follow me' takes on a new perspective as the boys transport us to a more cinematic space populated with the ghosts of the original track , haunting melodies and some intensely modulating space. A beautiful sunrise moment? We think so.
