With 3 originals, and the remix from Ranerro, this is perfect dance floor material. The title track Arp City is a bouncing track with shuffling hi's with punchy beats and excellent melody lead using smooth arps throughout the excellent arranged track. The second track is Resolution, with a slightly heavier kick for the floor, this is another bouncer, with delicate pushing pads for that essential deep ambience leading combing with the chords to bring that essential musicality to the track. The thirds track is Suspension, which is a roller with shuffling hi's, filtering in an out bass synth, vocaodered vocals and classy arrangement creating a deep late nice excusrion.
The last track on the EP is Alex Ranerro's remix of Arp City. He takes this on a more chord based 90's esq deep house feel with more skip to the beats than the original which locks into a hypnotic groove that delivers the perfect remix for the package.
Heavy House Society opens is 2021 with a high quality EP from Azara and Ranerro, and sets the tone for more always on point essential releases from Charles's high flying imprint.
