Svemirski (Coincidence, Tic Tac Toe Records, Forteana) has been playing gigs since 1989, mostly at his home country Belgium but also often in the neighboring countries like Netherlands, Germany and UK. Recently he played at Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor and Tresor in Berlin, just to name a few. With this two track release he is kickstarting the return of Forteana, the sublabel of Coincidence purposely built to offer a playground where artists can release whatever they feel like. Experimenting is key here. First track Micron is a trancey Acid track that was made especially for a warming up set. Deep yet driving, a simple but effective Acid bassline and some very nifty strings and soundscapes in the back. Ghost Town Funk on the other hand was built specifically because one tune Svemirski played out often couldn't be mixed out properly. So instead of searching for hours he simply constructed this track. Initially intended for only personal use, the reactions were pretty good on the floor so that's why it's getting a proper release now. Haunting echoes, a simple four four beat and typical 909 hihats emphasizing the groove, that's all there is to this track. And it works. Hope you like it too!
