Nicolás Valdez, aka Zedlav, is a Peruvian musician, producer, engineer, and DJ based in Barcelona. He’s also the founder of the label and promoter ReConexión. His musical roots range from reggae to jazz, hip-hop, and rock, creating a fusion of different sounds and styles. His sets typically lean towards Deep House, House, and classic 90s-2000s Tech House, but there's always room for his signature eclectic touch. A musician and guitarist since his teenage years, he developed a strong passion for underground sounds, which was further fueled during his university studies in music production, leading him to experiment with diverse ways of creating and interpreting music.
