In the heart of the “Music City” stands the one & only Obridium, an 18-year-old psychopath, specializing in bashing brains through filthy music. The Nashville native, known as Kody Sumner to friends & family, has been striving in music since being a child. Coming from a background of bluegrass & other Nashville styles, Obridium combines musical talent with amazing production, that’s supported worldwide by many. T hus far, Obridium has already gained support from Funtcase, Getter, AFK, Barron, Rekoil, Sadhu, & more, as well as released on Tectonik Records, Prime Audio, & Audiophile Live.T he journey began for Obridium in 2011, when he began making liquid drum ‘n’ bass music with Cubase; however, inspired by Datsik, Excision, & Downlink, young then 16-year old Kody quickly realized he had knack for filthiness.After countless months and years of trial and error, Obridium began to output material that would catch the eye of many a producer and DJ. Releasing his “Grindinbass”, Obridium’s run to the top of the circuit would begin in 2013, when Chicago based blog,, posted the track. The following months would have a snowball effect, and Obridium would come up to the release of his “D.R.I.N.K EP”, which would come out on Suspect’s Prime Audio in mid- 2013. T his EP would launch the future for Obridium. Now, Obridium is working on his second EP, bringing his style plus new sounds, new feel, & even more flow, as well as releasing remixes on Audiophile Live & Prime Audio. The future is bright for young Obridium and you’ve only seen what’s just begun!
