In 2002, Marcelo K2 toured Europe for the first time, since then his career has gone from strength to strength. With influences that range from Model500, Mysteryman, Adult and The Hacker to Reeko, Takaaki Itoh, British Murder Boys and Surgeon and the technical skills of Dave Clarke, he has developed a unique style, building steadily and creating a set, which is more than the sum of its parts. Marcelo K2 has been invited to play around the world at clubs like Roxy (Prague, Czech Rep.), Tunnel (Linz, Austria), Cinema (Kiev, Ukraine), Zyon (Amsterdam, Holland), Supalova (Kosice, Slovakia), Alpia (Martin, Slovakia), just to name a few, as well as at parties like RPM2005 (Seoul, South Korea) and Imperium (Brno, Czech Republic). Marcelo’s played alongside Terence Fixmer, Hardy Hard, Dave Clarke, British Murder Boys, Gaetano Parisio, Westbam, Afrika Islam, Scan-X, DJ Bold, Mario Ranieri, Boss, Space Djz, Jay Denham and John 00 Flemming and his broad musical tastes have given him the opportunity to be released on infamous record labels such as Ade Fenton’s Advanced Records (UK), Giant & Dwarf Rec. (Germany) and Frankfurt based label Frisbee Records. Frisbee 065 “Brazilian Heat” could be found in many TOP10 charts including Judge Jules’ on 12/2005 (RADIO1, UK) and TOM WAX's (YOUFM SOUNDS, 07/2005). As if the life of a jet-setting wasn't enough, Marcelo's focusing on spending more time in studio in 2008. Ade Fenton, Johan Bacto and Celtec Twinz have remixed his tracks already. Witness "one of the most talented DJ's worldwide".
