Bobby Lava is a contemporary performance artist, button pusher and house music aficionado from the Hawthorne CA. Born in the mountains of Colorado by neo-hippie computer programers, it is rumored his grandpa invented the lava lamp and his dad was part of the cypherpunk movement. He produced his first tracks at age 5 before his first formal piano lesson. A student of the ancient fruity loops program and battle scratch DJing, Bobbys musical influences run deep, from east coast breakbeats to ecstasy inspired trance.
