(Larry Levan, 1991)Erik Christiansen is a house music DJ from the UK, who believes in playing and creating the music he loves without conforming to any set rules. In 2012, Erik released his first EP, Cosmic Girl, which was an international success, being played by Solomun on Pete Tong's Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, and charting high in both Beatport's Deep House & Nu Disco genres for over 5 months. The release was also charted by Lee Foss, HOSH, NTFO and Climbers amongst others. Since his EP, Erik has released and remixed for a number of hot independent labels and consistently gained support on his music from some of the biggest stars of the underground.Support for Erik has come from:Solomun, Maceo Plex, Lee Foss, Francesca Lombardo, DJ T, H.O.S.H, Dyed Soundorom, Amine Edge, Luciano, NTFO, Tiefschwarz, WiLDKats, Sishi Rosch, Andrea Olivia, Climbers, Bubba, Lula Circus, Miguel Puente, Popof, Karmon, HNQO, Dirty Channels, Milk & Sugar, Tim Green, Blond:ISH, Martin Roth, Atapy, Fabo, Digitaria, The Mekanism, Raffa FL, Compuphonic, Ashley Wild... and many more.In addition, Erik also runs the influential and hot new label, NastyFunk Records.
