Dany discovered his preference for electronic music in 1994 with figureheads like Kraftwerk, Marco Bailey, Dave Clarke and many others. Around the year 2000, he started to produce music with the technological resources that existed at that time : For instance, Atari sequencer, Juno 106, Korg monopoly and Drummachine. As he plays his first tracks, he realises that the most important thing is how the dance floors react as well as the emotions he feels. All these feelings are at the root of his first productions. The night clubs where he plays as well in dj set as in live performance (“Le Trésor” in Berlin, the Cazin Club in Linz Austria, Fuse in Brussels and the Zip Club in Lisbon) bring him a solid soul in his following productions. . The next years are very constructive. An EP like Cuba Libre (Kroma Rec) has been played by very famous dj’s like Dave clarke.Dany adopted a sound with a constant tension and an intense rythm as far as the bpm’s are concerned. The « Dark destination » track is the outcome of a collaboration between David Carretta, Electric Indigo and Dany Rodriguez. The Dany’s sounds in the year 2004 are more dub housy, and he works on tracks together with Plastique de reve, David Carretta, Len mire and Jean Luc Demeyer (Front 242). The digital technologies and softwares have now a crucial place in the world of Dany and his way of apprehending music in studio is different. Indeed, he nearly doesn’t use hardware anymore. This involves certainly a more reflective music and a more abundant content He produces the next tracks with other pseudonyms on labels like Lessizmore and Toys for boys.
