The fourth release on Little Angel Records in your hands. Monodeluxe aka Alessandro Oliviero is a native italian who lives in Switzerland now. He was born in 1968, which means that he was lucky enough to spend his teenage years with decent Disco- & P-Funk-Music. Nowadays he is into Deep- & Jazzhouse, NuJazz & NuSoul which you can feel in his productions. On 'So far' Mondodeluxe took his impressions from the past and transformed them into this millenium. The album contains 17 songs and should take you on a journey (if you use it wisely). Mondodeluxe kicks it off smooth with the track that name the album. He keeps it downbeatish with songs/tracks like 'Blue Part', 'Playground' or 'Chilling', but also makes his excursions into other sounds like the deep housish 'Searching' and 'On the floor'. He also comes around the corner with the dirtyfunker 'Night Clubbing', or the bossa-electro tune 'Liquid Vibestar'. We think you got the messege now. Sit back and enjoy. Monodeluxe does not know any boundaries. As expected from Little Angel Records the sound is sophisticated from the beginning to the end, no matter what genre you might throw it in. Oh yeah, the last songs is called 'Uturn' to remind you that you should play this lovely piece of music over and over again. By the way, according to the former releases on Little Angel there will be a highly limited vinyl edition the 'So Far E.P.' aswell, which contains the 4 deejay weapons 'Searching', 'All Right', 'Night Clubbing' and 'Liquid Vibestar'. Enjoy listening and don't worry the next Little Angel release is not so far away!
