We'll be celebrating all year long, starting with a double compilation to be released in May : More G.D.M. X.
This is an extract from that compilation, with 4 new exclusive tracks from Tigersushi's all-stars, from bearded-funky-IDM to new-york-new-disco via deep-deep-house and teen-spirit-electro-pop.
Principles of Geometry introduces this sampler with their most dancey track to date, a full-on tribute to MJ and Californian highways filled with gritty vocoders, cinemascope synths and those huuuge orchestral hits.
Second track is by DyE, Nike is totally epic and melancholic, it smells like teen spirit and ecstasy.
On the flip side (well, for those who will handle the vinyl), we recently found a CD in our archives with an unreleased remix by In Flagranti that he sent us when we released Freddie Mas 'A Path' which he produced.. Nice to hear that he already had that super-groovy-dirty new york disco sound back then. With the mick-jaggeresque voice of Freddie Mas, it's a perfect match.
Last on the EP, the mysterious Crackboy. We think he might be French. He sent us that amazing deep house track owing to Basic Channel as much as more recent artists like Levon Vincent or Motor City Drum Ensemble. Tune.
