Pole Position Recordings proudly presents the Final DJs with their latest release 'Moonshine'.
Basti & Thomas are the Final DJs, two energetic German musicians and DJs heavily influenced by the 80s synthesized music scene. "Moonshine" is a testament to that era, big piano keys layered with vintage 80s analogue synths but with a very modern twist. With it's funky bassline, catchy chords and all round 'feel good' factor, 'Moonshine' is bringing the summer vibes to you slightly earlier this year!
Auxiliary tha Masterfader, Phunktastike and CRAM complete a stellar line up of remixers. The remixes are kicked off by Auxiliary tha Masterfader who strips 'Moonshine' down to the bare bones and rebuilds the whole track using his arsenal of classic synths, topping it off with a wonderful lead synth solo to create his aptly named '1984 Rework'. The ever impressive Phunktastike gives 'Moonshine' his usual trademark touch, adding an extra element with a truly vintage styled vocoded vocal. CRAM rounds off the remixes in fine fashion heading more down the classic French house route giving his 'Moonshine' remix a very catchy 'loopy' feel.
The Final DJs already have an impressive discography with releases on labels like Compuphonic, Computer Science and Work It Baby in addition to recent collobarations with Stee Downes and Gin Joints. This isn't the boys first outing on Pole Position Recordings either. Last year they turned out an impressive remix of Nathan Swiss' 'Two Worlds' for us, which will be followed up with a highly anticipated remix of Black Magic Disco's 'First Avenue', which is due out in the Summer.
