Heaven Recordings is a new label with a big attitude. The result of a coming together of talent, and experience, the label sees James Doman and Pete Gooding combine to deliver inspired ideas, quality production with big sounds and dance floor rocking moments

James Doman is quickly becoming one of the hottest names around. Already an established name in his native Canada as resident at Toronto's hottest club Circa, where he plays every Saturday night along side the biggest names in dance music, James’ profile has taken on a more global view in the last 6 months thanks to hit single, Everything’s Gonna Be Alright, for Positive.

2008 has been an outstanding year for Pete Gooding. His Global Network radio show is now syndicated worldwide and an album project with James Doman signed to Positiva Records. In addition, Pete and James Doman have launched their Heaven Recordings label, with forthcoming releases including an excellent remake of the 808 State classic 'Pacific State', which has already seen support from Pete Tong on Radio 1 and a very long list of premier league DJs.

In its original form, Dig This is peak time pumped up techno. Pounding beats and snapping snares lead the charge creating a jacking rhythm for the acid soaked electro hook to bump along to. The result is a main floor, peak-time banger with a twisted touch for the mashed up moments.

James Doman brings a melodic vibe to the track, holding back on the relentlessness of the original in favour of a more progressive vibe. Still very much a peaktime track the emphasis is on creating the tension before a monster breakdown with intense keys and nagging synths deliver the climax.

Early support from Carl Cox, Dubfire, Steve Angello, Groove Armada, Steve Lawler, Sander Kleinenberg, Shlomi Aber, Timewriter
