Following up on the release of his last Progressive House gem, 'West Linn', Alex H delivers yet another masterfully produced track dubbed 'Bella Heap'. Slightly softer and a bit more orchestrated than 'West Linn', 'Bella Heap' relies more on big chord structures and an ambiance within the overall atmosphere. The driving factor, however, is the succulent percussive melody built around a tight cymbal hit, and a crisp hi hat/snare combo, providing the track with a solid, yet groovy backbone. The synth patterns, while not the most complex, are so perfectly structured and reverbed that they ring throughout the record's soundscape with joy. With productions like 'West Linn' and 'Bella Heap' coming out at such an impressive rate, it is hard to deny that Alex H is currently redefining the standards for quality Progressive House music not just on Heath Mill, but throughout the genre overall.
