After a busy year of releases J. Gabriel and Chuffing Buffy return to Superfreq with 3 fresh remixes of their Aeroworld EP.
We kick off with a remix of the title track Aeroworld in which Subb-An seriously picks up the pace from the original. Solid beats and a bumping bassline carry 303 acid lines and trippy atmospherics that provide deep peak time action. This is Tech House that gives a real nod to the genre origins of over 2 decades ago but pushes it forward into the future.
Next up comes J. Gabriel and Chuffing Buffy's remix of Nottingham. They stay somewhat true to their original version yet bring this track into it's own with a funkier rhythm, added squelchiness and analogue splashes and a pulsating bass providing a more dynamic upgrade on an already excellent original.
Last up label boss Mr.C is on remix duties for this peak time Techno workout. Rubbery drums and a bouncing bassline carry the haunting synths that have been twisted from the original. Percussive synths and tripped out pads seal the darkness in C's excellent rework.
