Utilizing her project’s dark roots as its unwavering foundation, Los Angeles-based Woven Thorns offers her haunting and boundless interpretation of the dubstep genre. Her distinctly brooding sound distills inspiration from a variety of genres, mediums, and moods; boasting shadowy undertones, biting percussion, and palpable depth. While showcasing different facets of her musical influences, Woven Thorns’ music always aims to balance beauty with chaos. Adopting the Woven Thorns alias in 2019, she released her debut “From Grace” EP the following year, landing a spot on UKF’s top 20 tracks in 2020 and reaching the top of the Juno Download charts.
